Everyone is an Artist

One day I was having a conversation with a customer in the coffee shop I work at. She said something along the lines of, "Oh, you're an artist!? Wow! I am not creative enough to be an artist!" and it took all of my acting skills to not laugh right there and then
. You see, every single human on this planet has creativity. It just might manifest in different ways.
What this sweet lady didn't realize was, as she told me when I asked her about what she had been up to that day, that her rearranging the pictures on her wall was an act of creativity. Refinishing the chair she got at a flea market was an act of creativity. Making that sandwich was an act of creativity. While all of these acts are small, they are important.
These small moments, while they seem as though they are little and insignificant, are actually so important. They show that you are an individual. That you are creative. And that you are an artist. Even in the smallest ways, any time creativity is used is beautiful.
My hope for you is that, as you go out into the world, you are able to see how you contribute your unique voice through your small acts of creativity.
