I love when I get to create a painting that means something to someone. With my commissioned work, I have had the honor of capturing memories and experiences and creating spaces for those things to be remembered and pondered.

Goodbye
A man approached me about doing this painting in late 2024. He had recently lost his father and this painting is a memorial of the last photo he ever had with his father. a beautiful moment of saying thank you and goodbye.
I am beyond honored to capture such a powerful moment.
Beauty For Ashes
This painting was done based on a dream of the client. She has a son who she loves, but he is not able to live with her. for years she invested in him, but it became unsafe foe the rest of her family for the son to stay. She wondered what all of those years were worth if he didn't. heal and get to stay. This dream and this painting are reminders that there is beauty and treasure mixed into the pain and ashes of our past.
Growth Commission
A couple who had bought another GROWTH Series painting from me asked about doing a custom piece in the series for them. One of the things they like to do together is go wine tasting. They mentioned how much the loved the series and how they wanted something that represented them and their relationship
